Overview of machine types and machine series from Lindemann

Over the course of its 110-year history, Lindemann Germany GmbH has developed a large number of machine series for the metal recycling industry. The most important machine series are listed below in chronological order and classified according to their design:

1. scrap shears with side press

• LU series: One of the early series of scrap shears with side press, developed for the economical cutting of scrap metal.

• LUSEA: Further development of the LU series with improved hydraulic properties.

• LUGES: Particularly robust side pressure shears for large cutting cross-sections.

• LUSOT: Compact design, ideal for smaller scrap operations with lower cutting volumes.

• EtaCut: Mobile and compact shear with side press, often used for smaller or temporary applications.

• EtaCut II: Modern, energy-efficient high-performance shears with side press for high throughput requirements.

• NxtCut: For medium production volumes with optimized energy consumption and low operating costs.

2. wing bed shears

• ZM series: High-performance, low-maintenance shredder for shredding mixed and electronic scrap as well as body parts.

• ZZ Power Zerdirator: High-performance shredder for large-volume metal scrap, e.g. complete vehicles.

• ZB series: Chip crusher for pre-treatment of all types of metal chips.

• EtaRip Pre-Shredder: Pre-shredder to reduce explosions and increase the efficiency of the main shredder.

• ZS series: Condensers for secondary shredding and separation of FE/NE metals from shredder residues or other mixed fractions - particularly suitable for recovering valuable metals from fine fractions.

• MUB: Former series for briquetting metal chips, widely used in mechanical engineering and industry.

• EtaBriq: Modern briquetting press with high throughput for compacting almost all metal chips into compact briquettes.
